Our Founder

Courtney Temple is a transformational leader, human capital strategist, and founder of CareerStronger LLC, a leadership and career development consultancy dedicated to strengthening individuals and organizations through purpose-driven growth. With over 20 years of executive experience spanning Fortune 50 corporations, higher education, and global nonprofits, Courtney brings a unique blend of strategic insight, operational excellence, and human-centered leadership to every engagement.

 

As former Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at the Institute of International Education (IIE), Courtney oversaw multiple divisions—including Human Resources, Communications, and Higher Education Initiatives—and led enterprise-wide transformations that aligned culture, systems, and people strategy. Her leadership guided IIE’s global operations, DEI initiatives, and strategic plan execution, positioning the organization for long-term impact and sustainability.

 

Through CareerStronger, Courtney now channels her expertise into helping professionals and institutions build resilience, clarity, and strength. For individuals, CareerStronger offers practical tools and resources to enhance career readiness and growth, including her book Interview Strong. For organizations, Courtney delivers tailored consulting and leadership programs focused on change management, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.

 

Courtney holds both a B.S. and M.B.A. in Business Administration from Florida A&M University’s School of Business and Industry and is completing her Doctorate (Ed.D.) in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
