Over the past 20 years, Courtney has served as a multi-industry Human Capital executive with extensive global and regional experience in various roles within Human Resources, Project Management and Operations. She has successfully built and led both direct and matrix teams to drive enterprise-wide initiatives at a variety of different organizations ranging from large Fortune 50 companies to smaller not-for-profit organizations in defense contracting, health and education fields.  She has successfully driven enterprise-wide initiatives and is continuing to learn and grow with each new opportunity.  She manages her blog, Goals, Gaps, and Growth where she shares tips and tricks on leadership, development and career advice and has a published book (Interview Strong) that prepares candidates to excel during the interview process.

 

 

Courtney attended the School of Business and Industry (SBI) at Florida A&M University where she graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Business Administration and M.B.A.  She is currently at doctoral candidate (EdD, Education Policy, Organization and Leadership) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
